In what started as a joke on social media, international music star David Adeleke, also known as Davido, had raised over a N100 million.
The Davido Music Worldwide boss had taken to his social media account to call on people who have been impacted with his music to raise the sum of 100 million Naira for him to clear his Rolls Royce at the port.
Davido in the post has asked him fans, followers and some celebrities to donate one million naira each.
The singer hours after he posted his message and dropped Wema Bank account, wrote, “If u know I’ve given you a hit song .. send me money …. una know una selves oo.”
Davido few minutes later wrote, “Omo 7m in 10 minutes keep goin!! I love y’all! AIM NAH 100m I wan clear my rolls Royce from port abeg.
“I know say una love me but una love me like this??”
Naija News reports that music stars, actors, politicians, businessmen, traditional rulers among others have sent money to the FEM crooner.
