Former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has tackled President Muhammdu Buhari, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and others following the reports submitted by the Lagos Judicial Panel on Police Brutality.
Naija News recalls that Sanwo-Olu had on Monday received the reports on police brutality cases and the Lekki shooting investigation from the state judicial panel.
The content of the report has continued to stir reactions particularly from social media and its analysis also dominating the news.
This is as the panel in its report disclosed that not less than eleven people were killed at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020.
The panel in the report titled, ‘Report of Lekki Incident Investigation Of 20th October 2020’, noted at least 48 protesters were either shot dead, injured with bullet wounds or assaulted by soldiers.
Reacting to the development via his Twitter page on Tuesday, Sowore called out the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force for their role in the Lekki shooting on October 20, 2020.
The activist also tackled the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, over the revelations made in the report.
