A Facebook user identified as Joel Augustine A. has shared a beautiful love story about how he met the lady he’s about to tie the knot with at the #ENDSARS protest.
Naija News reports that #EndSARS protest which happened in October 2020, saw Nigerians take to the streets across the country to demand an end to police brutality and bad governance.
Amongst the youths who took to the streets were Joel Augustine and Umoh Unyime, who were both strangers but now beautiful lovers.
Sharing their prewedding photos at a popular Akwa Ibom Facebook page, Joel wrote;
#EndSars brought about a new beginning. These beautiful lovers then strangers, met during the Akwa Ibom #End_sars #Uyo_PrayerWalk; now set to bid farewell to single life.
Umoh Unyime the bride-to-be penned this down; ‘I’m usually not this nervous to make a post. But as it draws closer I realized that God’s word is to be shown to the world. It began with #Endsars , # UyoPrayerWalk, and today it is #PY2021 I’m glad we prayed
