Amidst the debate on zoning the 2023 Presidency to the Southern region, South-South Governors are currently meeting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
Naija News reports that the meeting is being chaired by the Chairman of the South-South Governors Forum and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa.
The meeting is hosted by Governor Nyesom Wike and taking place at the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.
Though the agenda for the meeting is not yet known, issues of the Value Added Tax (VAT) and 2023 presidency are among the things that may likely be discussed.
Governors who are physically present at the meeting include Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, and Douye Diri of Bayelsa state.
