Senate President Ahmad Lawan has appointed a Director-General and other departmental heads for his 2023 presidential campaign organization.
Naija News reports Lawan appointed Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu as the Director-General of his campaign organization ahead of the primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A statement on Thursday by Kalu also announced other leaders to head different arms of the campaign organization including the deputies.
Below is the full list and their positions.
Auwal Lawan is Chairman, Finance and Budget, while Senator Sani Musa is Co-Chairman.
Senator Ikechukwu Obiora is the Chairman Strategy and Planning while Senator Betty Apiafi is Deputy Chairman.
Senator Barau Jibrin heads Contact and Mobilization and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi will serve as the Deputy Chairman.
Senator Aliyu Sahabi Abdullahi will serve as Chairman of Media and Publicity while Femi Fani-Kayode will serve as Deputy Chairman.
Lawal Daura (ex-DSS DG) is the Chairman Security and Intelligence while Retired Commodore Mohammed Barau is the Deputy Chairman.
Senator Bello Mandiya is Chairman Transport and Logistics while Hillary Bisong is the Deputy Chairman.
Prince Mustapha Audu is the Chairman of Youth Groups and Aisha Ismail heads the Women groups.
