Indications for the Peoples Democratic party (PDP), presidency zoning arrangement to be decided today is now 70 per cent.
Naija News reports that the party presidential zoning committee chairman and Benue State governor Samuel Ortom is currently hosting a high profile meeting of the party at the Benue Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.
In attendance are members of the National Working Committee of the party, Governors on the platform of the PDP, members of Board of Trustee and former Senate President David Mark.
Also in attendance are, Alhaji. Atiku Abubakar, former Senate Presidents Bukola Saraki and Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim.
Although the agenda of the meeting is yet to be known, but a source from the meeting told Naija News that the party may be fine tuning its road map for its National Executive Committee (NEC) to make final pronouncement on zoning of the presidency and conduct of credible primaries later this month
The Director General PDP Governor Forum, C.l.D Maduabum however acknowledged the credibility and sacrifices displayed by Governor Ortom in ensuring the greatness of the party.
